Time in Galveston

July 2010. The gulf oil spill made us a bit leary to make our annual Florida trip, so we made a beeline south to spend some time on Galveston island! We loved the ferry ride over, parks, beach, seawall, and shopping on the Strand! The girls especially loved the old fashioned ice cream parlor on the Strand!
