Summer cabin time

We had to spend time at the cabin this summer! Then it was off to a family reunion! (the reunion picture is the first one, although we went to the cabin first)

Catch UP

Since it has been so very long since I have posted anything, and I am so behind, I thought I would start my catch up with the beginning of summer.

After school was out on the last day of school, Sam was swimming at a friend's house. She was going down the slide face first (because it's more fun that way apparently) when one of her sisters accidently bumped her causing her mouth to hit the rock slide and chipping her front tooth! Not to worry, we took her in the next day and got her all fixed up!

No Clue

It has been sooooooo long since I have posted anything! I am trying to fix my background, but have NO CLUE how to do it!!!! I am technologically challenged........

Lately....

The girls went to another daddy daughter dance with their dad. They love going out and spending time with him, and he loves spending time with them!




Sus has been playing basketball this season and loving it!


Greg and I went to the shooting range a few weeks ago with some friends. We had a great time shooting different types of pistols and rifles.




Nothing too exciting going on around here. I am ready for summer....it's still February.......

LOTS and LOTS of snow!!

Record snowfall for our area in one day yesterday. It snowed all day and did not stop. No school for the last 2 days=lots of play time in the pretty white stuff! However, I did not enjoy SHOVELING the snow from the driveway so I could get the car up the drive and into the garage!

It did!!

It did turn into a roll brim hat! Although I must confess it's not perfect--it is a teensy bit too big. I will have to remember to adjust the stitches on the next one I make. I am excited to try again in a different color. I need some help with embellishment ideas. I am not very creative with things like that, so if you have any cute ideas PLEASE send them along!!!!
