Just call me Betty!

We had a really fun Enrichment night a couple of weeks ago on food storage. We had a tasters table with a variety of foods made from food storage items and they were all surprisingly very tasty! My friend Camden made some delicious whole wheat bread and freezer jam to go with it. I LOVE freezer jam and buy it from Bithell Farms in Oregon once a year or so. I missed the last order and ran out of strawberry--mine and the girls favorite kind. I am not so fond of cooking and making things myself, but Camden graciously offered to come to my home and help me make some. She even called to tell me where to get strawberries on sale this week. Well, with Camden's help, I am happy to say that I now have homemade freezer jam and it is awesome! I know it wouldn't look or taste so great without her help! She is truly an awesome friend with many talents and I appreciate her help so much! Camden and her husband were some of the first people we met when we moved to the Dallas area 9 years ago. They are great friends and have a great family! Thanks Camden!

Hi Betty! I, too love freezer jam and feel it's so much easier to make than regular jam. Bread and jam...Yum, Yum!

No way! I just went to Bithell Farms web site before I started blogging and wanted to see when the truck was coming to Nebraska. I need Camden right now. I have been out of jam for months, so tried to make some, and lets just say I threw away about 8 containers of it. I must have messed up somewhere. I think I will have to call Camden this week and find out the tricks. So fun to see your family's pictures. You look great!

"Um", I wish I knew about this "Bithell Farms" place. Sounds like it has quite the following.
