The hardest job

Is parenting. It is by far the most rewarding thing I have ever done, but it is also the hardest thing I have ever done. I openly admit that I don't always know what to do,or how to handle each situation that comes up. We have had a very rough school year, and a particularly hard week--yes, it is only Tuesday! I am grateful to be able to turn to the scriptures, and for the counsel of our church leaders on parenting issues. I am also grateful that I can pray to a loving Father in Heaven who loves me and my family. We are experiencing some of the "occasional cloud cover" that life sometimes brings and are looking forward to a "sunny" day soon!

On a side note, I got pulled over for speeding today. I was going about 60 in a 45. I couldn't pretend I didn't know I was going too fast, but the officer just told me to slow down and let me go! I didn't even have to cry to get out of it!

I also saw a light at the end of the tunnel this last week and realized that it was a train...

I swear that women always get out of tickets. Glad to see that you are no exception to the rule.

Ah, Ang this post hit to close to home for me right now. I wish we lived closer to one another to help bear each others burdens. The wonderful job you are doing raising your children is evident in those BIG, BEAUTIFUL SMILES on the faces of your girls. Love you.

Hi Angie, I recently caught a short blurb of an interview with Brad Pitt (I think they are amazing with all their kids) and he said his kids were his "biggest joy and largest pain in the behind" (small edit for family friendly reading) ... and he probably has nannies to help. Keep up the good work. I agree with your sister about those smiles on the faces of your girls :) Hope you have a sunny day soon.

Haha!!! I could have written that as well....except I don't EVER get out of tickets.
Anyway, we had to start a "Behaviour" chart for Caroline. Things are going much better but we still refer to her as "PIMA" ...Pain in my A.
We sure do love those kids though.
Love ya,
