A project
I'm hoping that what looks like a ball of tangled mess will turn into a cute roll brim hat very soon! The girls expressed an interest in learning to knit, so I dusted off my knitting stuff (because it's been a VERY long time since I have knitted anything) and am trying to get them going. Of course this meant that I had to get myself going again--practicing stitches, joining rounds on circular needles, etc. When I have to change to double pointed needles here soon, we'll just hope for the best! The girls have succesfully completed casting on, and now we are moving on to knit and purl. Wish me luck. I may need a few diet cokes here soon!

That looks like fun. You've got to teach me how to do it sometime.
Awesome. I remember in college I was so impressed with your knitting skills. Wish you could teach me.
